Postcard Writing Brings People Together

Hastings, NE – Michelle Smith and her supporters mailed 9700 postcards to voters in Legislative District 33 from the Hastings Post Office today. The postcards were a combined effort of over 80 volunteers from both political parties in support of Michelle’s campaign to succeed Senator Steve Halloran representing District 33 in the Nebraska Legislature.

Volunteer Jane Marie said she helped write postcards because, “I appreciate how Michelle is getting out and meeting the people in her District and visiting with them individually to hear their concerns and hopes.”

Michelle expressed her appreciation for all of the volunteers’ efforts: “I’m honored and humbled that so many people contributed their time and resources to support my campaign. It’s amazing to see how much can get done when we connect with others in our communities. Together, we can make a difference!”
